Which is better hp or Mac for computer development?

both are, if they gat good ram, processor graphics card etc, i don't care about brand much though, its what you can do with it that matters

Wow! You can install Linux on Mac as well. It is all your own preferences. Just try it and you will know for sure.

If you want to develop iPhone applications in Swift or Objective C I'd recommend you to use xcode on MacOS. So it's better to have Mac for it. The same if you develop something for MacOS. For anything else you can use whatever you want.
