Is there any close substitute to HTML

so far so good, only html I've seen as a markup language for web development. I thinking if there is another so that can learn it to add my experience.

Experience is made of practice, excersice, application(web or console, ect..) not from theory. If you need or want to add something to your experience learn HTML,CSS,js and make an app web. Then you wanna learn more? For example learn jQuery , Entity Framework, cshtml and SCSS and make another application. Then more? AJAX calls, SQL, LINQ, ect.. and continue to practice them. Don't loose time searching another markup language which is the same of html.
