If you had 3 hours a day, what technique is more effective for learning a language?

We are all limited in time, many of us are insane in front of people and many do not have the opportunity to study technology for 8-10 hours. Which programs recommend some of them, how to develop with a shortage of time ? Thanks

When I try to study from some source, like an article or a book, I quickly get too entangled in it - the source starts to determine what I learn, even when that's not so useful.

It would be okay if the source was very well structured and only contained material you don't know yet but definitely need. When you just started, that can be the case, like when you read your first beginner's tutorial.

Unfortunately after that point it doesn't seem to be the case so often. A lot of learning material is messy, or it contains stuff you can't use right now. Even if you learn it, you maybe won't use it for a while and forget it anyway because you don't relate to it.

If I wanted to make the best use of my time, I would put the most energy into coding projects, because that's what gives you the biggest skill boost.

I would google or look up something I don't know ONLY when I really need it. And I would take notes of exactly this new knowledge I used, and consciously repeat it in order to remember it for next time.

Study for 2 hours and spend the rest 1 hour applying what you have studied.
