Is learning programming currently more difficult than previous times (previous computer generations)?

It doesn't matter Programming is tough or easy,it depends on the experience and knowledge you have. Competition is more yet there are people who stand out with thier work so it doesn't matter much I guess.

If I were to answer, I'd say that the answer is still in the process of changing. I'm 26 years old, so I grew up with AOL dialup, massive IBM desktops, and the like. Long story short - I grew up during a large part of the explosion regarding technological innovation, evolution, etc.
For me, I think the learning-process within programming has had it's difficult moments, but I wasn't left feeling helpless - due to being more familiar with such things than my grandmother (who doesn't even know how to copy/paste text on a computer), for example.
I personally believe that as more generations are born and grow up alongside technology and programming, the learning (and teaching) processes regarding such things will become more effective - especially since public schools have been (one at a time) beginning to implement programming classes, etc.

Yes the programming is tougher but people are more experienced but now there is more competition than previous years.
