How do I teach somebody the basics of coding if the only thing the person wants to do is automatically wants to become a master?

I tried exampling the basics of programming and the fundamentals that a person needs to know before moving on to other advance concepts or structures.

let the person explore: sooner or later he will get stuck and realize the limits of his knowledge and that he needs the basics.
that time you'll have the solution to his problem and he will be grateful for that.

Then don't waste your time on him. Give your knowledge to others which need it most.
