Question from a self taught learner

Why self taught is so stuck and how to move forward in programming if a person living in an environment where there's no programmers ?this is discouraging me a lot.

How long have you been working on it? For many people, they've spent many years learning it and are still learning it as they go / are presented with new problems. It's much more than simply learning a syntax, as it also involves critical thinking, imagination, problem-solving and logic. It's just like other subjects (math for example) where you practice daily and over the course of years you learn to master the subject. Here is what I do: Read through the entire language even if you don't fully understand it yet. Practice what you can remember. Read through it AGAIN, but this time write down any concept you still don't understand. When you're done, research and practice what you wrote down. Read through the language again and repeat the process until you no longer write anything down. That is an efficient way to learn a language. Don't be afraid to seek out many resources and certainly don't hesitate to ask others for help. You're online so you have access to millions (if not billions) of programmers around the world, even if you don't know anyone offline that programs. If you can't find help here, I recommend that you learn the rules to www.StackOverflow.com and it'll be a priceless resource to speak with other programmers that can help resolve whatever issues you run in to. Something else that I do: -Go to college/university website -Look at catalog for class I'm interested in -Google <course name> free ebook -Read the books available for that course -Repeat for any subject I enjoy -Gain free college education Best of luck to you! Plenty of good people here and we're all happy to assist if you get stuck on anything in particular.
