If it helps your enviroment should be like this... Powershell, Notepad ++ and pdf file of your choosing asuming you are learning from a pdf.

@Gershon: I have downloaded the necessary items. I seem to have difficulty being able to install pymssql on a Windows machine. I have basic knowledge how to use a cmd.exe and where to find files. But thank you for the link.
