Creating an app for remembering things

Question

Hi
I want the answer in visual basic
I want to create an app which can remember things for e.g. My name
and can tell me whenever I ask it.
More details
take a text box to input name
and a button to submit it
take another button to print the name in the text box again after closing the app
suppose I enter Parvesh and hit submit button and closed the app
after sometime I reopen the app and hit the another button then Parvesh will print in the text box
