Great Coding | A Competition | Post your Greatest Code! | By PaperTronics

Hey, everyone! We all are programmers, and as we all know, programmers have no life. A programmer spends hours working on that 1 code of his, that he knows, will 1 day be the greatest code ever! Well, today is that day! The day your code actually gets restored from the recycling bin and actually gets some attention! So, all programmers from all over the world can post their Greatest, their Most Fabulous code at this post! Prizes: Although creating a great program is its own prize, it's human nature to be greedy for a reward. Every code that is awesome and original will be getting an upvote by me. Other programmers can also upvote the programs that they think are useful. The top 10 posts with the most of the upvotes at the end of the contest will win an extra 15 upvotes by my other 15 ids at SoloLearn. So work hard, work honestly and hopefully, you'll be one of the winners! Rules : - No posting of basic code like Calculator, Age Guesser etc. - Your program's description should be added with your program's code. A full description which describes everything your program does. - The program can be made in any programming language available in the world. - To maximize your chances of getting an upvote, be sure to comment your code so that the viewer can fully understand what your program is doing! - Only Program posts are allowed. No off-topic posts. - No copied code allowed. Only your code should be posted here. Please don't copy other programmer's code since they have spent months at making their program and copying their program without giving proper credits is what makes you a bad person. - No Entries after the 30th of August are allowed. The results will be declared on the 5th of September. Start Coding and Start Posting! PaperTronics

https://code.sololearn.com/Wnf44Zidtm6G/?ref=app This was my attempt at creating dynamic lights. I think it worked out quite nicely, although the lag is real on mobile devices. You can control the speed of the lightsource, the angle of the light and the strenght of the light with the sliders in the top left corner. The only problem I encountered was reflections, so if anyone can help me that would be nice.

https://code.sololearn.com/W367MK2k82m4/?ref=app I created models of the first 10 atoms in the periodic table with Bohr's atom principal. You can see the protons, electrons, neutrons and some information about each element.

@The Coding Sloth - Nice work. Your dynamic lights are awesome! Although there is room for improvement, your code is still jaw-dropping. Congrats, you just won an upvote! @ChessMaster Your code rocks too, this type of code can really come handy when creating a web page about science, having this at the bottom of the page can really influence the viewers to explore your website more. All in all, that's a great web page! You just earned an upvote!! Keep Coding, Keep posting!

@Joshua - Although the game gets repetitive and boring after a few losses and wins, I like the way how the surviving/dying thing is completely random, not based on a 3 win/3 loss algorithm. But because there isn't any other thing that can impress the user, your code isn't worthy of an upvote. Try harder and you'll succeed! Keep Coding, Keep posting!
