..a smashing ecosystem with botlike creatures (canvas)
..flock behaviour - many creatures, cater for reproduction and predators maybe add random occurances like fishing and migration

for 1 you'll need some reading

2 is manageable see how to derive logic

3 requires more. see the nature of code.com

those 3 require more than just being a hardcore programmer

A very good suggestion would be develop your own ideas and think what you can do. Because you know how good you are at coding and languages. Try to make codes on what you know and learn new things and upgrade your code. For any doubt you get, just Google it.
Also just go through the codes of your friends(sololearners ) to get any good idea and better understanding.
