What's difference between java doc comment and multiline comment ...i feel that both are same

Multiline comments can contain any number of lines while the other can contain just 1

The way they explain it in the course makes it sound like it's the same thing, and Javadoc comments really are just fancy multi-line comments. In Eclipse, Javadocs can be added before methods to give additional information about the method.

yes i got......Javadoc is a tool which comes with JDK and it is used for generating Java code documentation in HTML format from Java source code which has required documentation in a predefined format.

Javadoc comments use 2 asterisk and an asterisk every line. Also they interpret documentation tags like “@author”
