What programming language should i take in college

As a beginner to programming, I highly recommend you taking Python.
Python is a high-level programming language, with applications in numerous areas, including web programming, scripting, scientific computing, and artificial intelligence.
Python is a very easy language to learn and it's an object-oriented language too!
You can learn Python really quickly, it's syntax is incredible. If you forget what your program is all about you can easily understand it by just skimming through your code.
