Why my XP is increasing very slow ?

My XP is increasing very slow. Even I have got certificate in C# but my XP is very low. In my opinion, maximum 500 XP will be scored even there is no error, hint or unlock. So, how top learners have scores more than 1000 XP ?

Is there any other activity which increases XP apart from learning/questions/quizes ?

Am I missing something ? Any tips ? Help.

Achievements can give a lot of exp. Also, challenges (c++, javascript). Don't worry too much about exp, it's just a small incentive to encourage you to learn.

Top learners made programs on the code playground. The likes on the Programs give xp. Also Achievments can give a lot of XP. With my Programs I reached place 1 on the top learners of HTML and Ruby
