Anyone coding for a long time without needing a pair of glasses 👓?
Have anyone been affected on the eyes after a long time of spending hours and hours in from of a PC? I feel that's my case.

I think I have strong eyes, no goggles yet

Coding on Mobile Phone hurts the eye more than the PC

AFAIK it is recommended to use anti-glare reflective glasses if you will start a career in coding or anything that requires you to stare pc monitor for hours (or even days) because it will reduce future bad effects of radiation.
So I suggest you wear one now.

So use glasses better. Some time ago I listened is a good idea to put near your screen a cactus because it get radiation

I'm so used to Cell phones so I do most of my learning and practice there and then code on my computer, but I think it could hurt on cell phone when one is used to PC

I needed glasses years before I started programming or even watching more that 3 hours of TV a day.

I've noticed eye strain in the past if I'm ever working with monitors with low refresh rates at high resolutions. However, it's not been a big issue for me over the many years of long hours programming.
What kind of monitor do you use and what resolution are you using?

@£m®¥$ That's funny 'cause I do the same. Only when I switch to the PC I have the issue.

I think this is a really good article for monitors that work best for programmers.

For me, I'm a bit spoiled. I have the following setup :
34" Class 21:9 UltraWide® Full HD IPS Curved Gaming Monitor

50" Class KU6300 4K UHD TV

And I use the monitor on my MacBook Pro with Retina Display
I make use of all 3 wired up at the same time, which makes for a very pleasant programming experience for many long hours.
If you try the TV as a monitor option, the key is to get a 4K UHD at 60Hz or higher. Otherwise, you might get eye strain. It's been quite amazing for me though.
