I am teaching a student that just moved to this school java. Previously he knew JavaScript very well. How do i teach him?

I understand that java and JavaScript have very little in common and do almost completely different things, but what is the best w ay to teach him?

Java and JavaScript have very few things in common, it's gonna be hard to try to link them but the basics in Java and JavaScript (as with almost all languages) is very similar so no problem with the basics but after that they go their separate ways
