Br tag doesnt have a closing tag why

you can put <br/> like this.

But BR aren't the only one who doesn't need a closing tag.

It's because they aren't containers.

Yea i just started learning too :) and i got it like u cant put eg. text in between br like between <p> because it just makes it go to next line it doesnt need an end .... i cant explain it haha but i get it
