Why PHP or NodeJS? Why not languages like Java and C#?

Do you have specific requirements or didn't you know about creating a back-end in other languages like Java, Python, C#, C++ et cetera?

Just do some research on a language, in the end you can use anything and it's up to you what you prefer. If it's between PHP and NodeJS I would recommend/prefer NodeJS.

well that's just what I prefer.. Just Google on NodeJS VS PHP and decide for yourself what you want.
