How do you keep consistent with learning code? Prioritising time in your schedule.

I am currently studying medicine and balancing studies with work has always been challenging. Soon I will graduate and start interning which will be likely just as demanding on time. What are some ways to stay dedicated to the steep learning curve of code while balancing a busy schedule? How can I keep study high on the priority list? Thanks in advance for any advice. Really appreciate it!

there's no single solution for all. it is highly individual. e.g. it depends on whether you're an early bird or a night owl. I'd suggest to read first the two books by Barb Oakley and Terry sejnowski on learning. since you're a medic you'll have a deep understanding of the material. an they give great tips too. best advice is: learn really small chunks but SYSTEMATICALLY keep repeating do drills learn with the assumption that you'll have to give a lecture to a class about what you just learnt learning early in the morning gives you a full day for repetitions learning in the evening just before sleep blocks retroactive loss of information. your brain keeps processing what you just learned while you sleep.. make repetitions fun kill frustrations NEVER GIVE UP
