Roel the frontend you can do with react native which is based on javascript and the backend can be node.js based like express.js which provides a REST api

After java, #kotlin is better. Kotlin is a new supported language by google for developing android applications. Kotlin is easier than java,

But, for coding via kotlin, you should know a few about java.

For some important parts of codes, you can use #c++ to obfuscate your code for preventing or harder of reverse engineer.

Obviously you should start with Java. There are tons of tutorials on internet to learn android with java.
