What languages are used for back-end?
Hi. I'm making a website right now. The frontend is complete and I started wondering what I should use for back-end. PHP is commonly used, but regarded advert bulky and $ is a thing. Js has exploded into the market, but I prefer Oop to Ob languages. I am extremely comfortable with Java, but not many hosting companies have Java hosting. Finally, Python, just kidding. Anyone know any good languages that could be used for back-end? ty and have a good one

If something is practically an industry standard (i.e. JavaScript) you can be sure that its likely the best tool for the job, although; what you are actually trying to do should be the biggest influence of your choice of language - managing user input and SQL tables is often best done with PHP but PHP is excessive for simpler tasks like dynamically updating text. Don't underestimate Python, just because it's "easy" doesn't make it a bad language (especially if you don't intend to learn C or a variant of it) its an ideal tool for microelectronics and prototyping.
