AAA is only a term (of Authentication -Authorization ) but it is not a protocol or program or any thing like that...am i right?

I mean it is a term of Authentication -Authorization and we do it using protocols to make security so AAA id a term pointing to make security using protocols ....am I right?

Authentication, Authorization and Accounting. I think this is some kind of a security concept and not a protocol.
