well math and programming are definitely connected. first lessons (here on sololearn) are about arithmetic , relation logic operators, so probably that's the reason why it seems like everything is math here. but after those basic lessons you will encounter some stuff that are not about math, like classes, objects, terms like encapsulation, inheritance... overloading and lot of other programming stuff.
So yeah, there's math at the begging but letter it will be different.
Just don't quit easily!

So don't learn read lessons of Ancient history.

To learn to code effectively, you need to do stuff with it, applying what you learn. Math is one of the easiest ways of doing that, and at a fundamental level you are manipulating numbers and storing stuff in memory etc. Coding is logic, a lot of math is logic so the connection is clear, and it's generally very easy to apply math problems to programming
