What is the use of c program? How can I publish my program?

Suppose I made a code of counting prime numbers between two numbers. But now what? I can use it, but if I want others to use it like an online software then what should I do? This might be enough for the explanation of question.

Not a Programm anyone would pay for tbh. Anyways, you would need to make your programm compatible with different Operating Systems. Means a Lot of Makros and if-else behaviour.
