Any Developers who published to Play store here?

Question

I want to go this route, but I've heard about the google's associated account bans in case your app violates any of their policy. Of course I don't mean to make illegal apps but there are many cases where the developer stopped updating apps and play store's policy was updated and the app failed to meet it so the developers acocunt and related account gets banned!

My google accountsvare important and I don't want to risk it... Btw opening new account fors not help because google associates all account with IP and any info they get to link them... so if your account gets banned your family's ones might also get warned or banned.

Any advise or suggestion about this?

This is the issue of monopolistic oligarchy.

Either create a seperate gmail account on a seperate computer with a private vpn.
Or live in fear forever.
I haven't heard too much about related accounts getting banned regularly. But, usually they suspend your developer account before gmail.

Still, if the thought of losing stuff gets you concerned to this extent--people have lost years old gmail for no good reason, not related to dev account. Consider getting your app published on fdroid. Fdroid accepts foss apps which can be built by them and doesn't use any proprietary libs or code, etc.

They suspend only the release if not meets the policy for first review, if the same release is sent without any changes for review then the Play Developer Console account only suspended not ur Google Account.

Lord Krishna yes that is true, developers don't have many options sadly... The private vpn setup and seperate PC thing is not feasible for a developer just starting out(and ironically, we are the ones more likely violate some policy because of the lack of experience with them).

Subash Rogers thank you for answering. I see that your app is suspended, but if it gets 3 warnings your account will be banned, right? And are your sure it's just the Developer account? Because there are posts online where normal account was also suspended.

Asirap Play Console is just a single product of Google, I'm damn sure you they only ban Play Console. You can go for it!
