Can JavaScript do exactly what python can do?

javascript can do even python cant. like dom manipulation.
but python easily work with files but javascript cant. but it will be possible if u use frameworks of js like react,vue,node etc.

What is mean by exactly?
If those 2 do exactly same then why there is 2 languages..
If you can a task by a language then you can almost do the same with any other languages **mostly**, but the approaches may different..
