You need to give a try..
Java is strictly typed language than python..
Some of conventions to translate are
To declare variables, syntax
datatype variable_name = value ;

To take user input, import java.util.Scanner ;
Make Scanner object = new Scanner(System.in) ;
object.nextDouble(); for double value,

Function declaration
return_type function_name(arguments)
{
...
}

All these should include in a class..
Call from main method in that class..
