If you don't know what is in front-end then how you would develop back-end. So 1st front-end part should be done then back-end according to functionality.

Jms your code execution will be done on the bases of function calling which function you calling first. You need to understand the structure of Dom and how one page working and what things it contains. you have to understood root model .
