Can I build personal gui project by just using c++?

I want build personal project while I am learning c++ to avoid myself from losing intrest on the way but I feel somehow that using c++ only wouldn't be enough to make a full fledge app or website .

From what I've read on this site and some others, C++ alone doesn't come with GUI pack. So your plan for a GUI project with *just using C++* is not possible without the use of a GUI toolkit.
