Petition to move or remove all the jokes threads from the trending posts.

Question

In the trending posts are a lot of posts that are just "jokes" threads. Really not relevant here on a learning platform. Nothing against a good laugh once in a while, but when I'm browsing trending posts on a learning platform for programming, I wouldn't first expect to find joke-threads, that aren't even funny, here.

Is it possible to at least move them somewhere else? Maybe a humor section or something like that?

I think duplicate and unfunny joke threads should be removed, but certainly not all joke threads. I believe threads which make it to the Trending section were processed through a constant algorithm in which part of it corresponds to relevancy and community response - This allows SL content to remain as it is, so there's no need for us to worry about how things will go haywire in the future.

Q&A is separated into 3 section :
1. Code discussion
2. Complaint forum
3. General Forum

Many times, jokes threads were featured on the home page. As you said, there should be a separate section in Q/A Discussions for that.
