One thing I have learnt is this, try to experiment with other languages and revisit Python again. You will be amazed!
I started with JavaScript but got totally put off, then I dived into python loved it and used django framework to create couple of fan projects. I returned to JavaScript with full conviction and I never looked back. Experimentation is the key!...don't give up.

You have really spoken well @Ben, @Manual, @Ajoke. Udoh, what you need is to set a goal(futuristic target)for yourself in anything you do and that would be your driving force. Get materials and practise as you learn. You can also attach yourself to people of same mind so as to see through their eyes. Then if possible, going by Ben, digress a little so as to appreciate what you are doing... Coding is not what you learn & master in a day or few weeks, it involves a lot of practise and learning. You can do it- Trust me!

If you have a project that's sort of an end goal, that may help maintain motivation. Also joining a community and seeing first hand the great work that others from your area are doing can be an interesting way to maintain motivation and be continually inspired. check out Dev Center a slack community for Nigerian Devs. You'll love it .

Remind yourself what was your initial goal for learning py..atimes you may get stock in the learning process...leave and come back with a fresh mind and you will be wowed how you will continue learning afterwards..just always cast your mind on your goal
