Future Of IT sector and Computer related jobs in India.....

Question

I have completed mine 12 class and now I am planning to do BTech in CSE ..........
But many of mine friends and relatives are saying that many of IT SECTOR jobs in India will shrink and scope will be very less in next 4 years .....
And due to automation, IT SECTOR will ask for completely different skill sets in employees like AI, MACHINE LEARNING, ANALYSIS,ETC.. which is not taught in any engineering college in India, they are mostly focusing on rot learning and many year old curriculum.

1)Don't just opt for CSE if ur concerned about jobs and all. I know its an integral part of life but coding without actual passion won't get you anywhere. I mean you maybe able to get a job in mass recruiting company with poor salary but that shouldn't be your goal

2)If the above point isn't your condition and you have affinity towards coding then you need not worry about jobs they'll be there..Just keep practicing you'll excel. As rightly said in question none of practical things* are actually taught in engg colg so you have to take support of MOOCs external courses etc.

3) Just an option:- Instead of going for engg you also have options for doing BCA and B.Sc stuff which is equally good.. or even better as you can gain knowledge in depth and you will be practically skilled

...It's just a hype.. engg..

Nope ,i don't think so it will shrink..Its gonna grow
Programmers from India are very good ..The main problem is that many of them don't stay in the country and go abroad..This is probably because right now there are not as much good programming jobs...
But the story didn't ends here .With good IT companies growing in India(like INFOSYS and WIPRO), and Bengaluru being developed as a big IT Hub , programming in India is gonna increase gradually:)

Jobs are most likely to increase , as everything is getting digital , especially in India after Digital India movement .
Programming has a better scope with private companies which will increase according to me and after seeing government websites it's sure that India lack good programmers in government jobs also.

but bca - mca now only don't have much scope......
And if by chance u get any job it would of very less package in a metropolitan city ......**

Thanks for ur suggestion, I am quite passionate about coding but now the time has come to decide the course and 2 or 3 of mine relatives have landed in low package job so that was the reason for asking this question.....

Well! What I know is this :
India is number one software producing country in the world with more than 50% share in hand.

A fact is very interesting that almost all who give these freaking career advices to new kids, definitely have no idea what they are talking about. These guys just give their damn opinion under their knowledge. And in reality the picture is always different.

So buddy just do what you want not what others suggest you and the 100% future predictions they throw on you.
