What language should I start learning to develop Android apps? And for games?

Question

I'm a begginer and know just some basics about coding. I started with Python because I read it was an easy language to start to learn coding. I also know some Java. I know a lot of Android apps use Java, but is it possible to use any other programming language for this purpouse?
(Sorry for my English, it's not my mother tongue.)

Python is a good language to start when you're trying to study the basics. But python gets a little bit complicated when it comes to advanced programming tasks. but if you're focusing on android development , try Kotlin. Newest language introduced by Google this year. And Java is also a good choice.
