I noticed they underline the first part of the tag. Should we do this when we write code?

The first part is underlined but not the closing tag. Is it a common thing to do, or just the app does this?

Anything underlined in the lessons means you can tap it and get a quick definition. Most of the starting tags have one. So yep, that's just what the app does.
