Is it acceptable to pose new quiz questions that are more like problem set siblings of existing questions?

The quiz challenge questions are an excellent memory test, but perhaps conjugating existing questions would help teach the concepts. For example, every existing true or false question could easily be reworded to call the opposite answer. If I reword someone elses question in this way, is that an acceptable new question entry? Is it necessary or possible to reference the original author of the question? There are a few this way now that often throw me!

Good point @James Boblak! The more unique quiz questions there are, the more difficult it is to memorize all the answers, ESPECIALLY if some of the questions are similar to each other. I uploaded a few quiz suggestions in Quiz Factory, but they all got rejected, because they were too similar to the existing ones. That's really countereffective, because now there are a ton of people with platinum badges who actually can't even write a decent computer code, because they just memorized all the answers and just "grinded" (like in video games) their way up to their "internet fame"
