If you mean who will have a more successful career, it has nothing to do with the type of development (Web or os or hardware etc...) rather the specific company that you work for and your specific agreement with your employer, i.e. two people may have the exact same position at different companies or even the same company and one can make a lot more money and have better work conditions than the other because of factors like successful salary negotiation, better resume, and a better impression on hiring/management staff or even better social skills.

I'm short: If you're really good at what you do and you do everything else right then it doesn't really matter what type of code you're writing.
