How to replace some words in my SQL database using PHP?

Question

Hi, I'm new. I have a question. How to tell PHP to take one word from my SQL database (saved on my hard disc as .sql), replace this word to different one, copy this database with this one word replaced and save as a new database? Is this even possible?
For example take every word from category "Language" (there ale only three words: "English", "Japanese" and "Spanish") and replace these words to "Anglais","Japonais" and "Espagnol".
