You have to hand-carve your code onto a huge granite tablet, and then bring the inscription to the exact center of an empty grass field of an area equivalent to 1000000² pixels on a 60dpi CRT display. Regardless of what programming language your code is written in, chant The Zen of Python 3 times at the sky. If done correctly, you will notice that the inscriptions on the granite tablet gradually vanishing to the point of void. This indicates that your code has been submitted as a CoTD candidate which may be featured if found to be worthy. Exit the grass field by retreating from the center, to the east exit, all the while maintaining a 75° bowing posture, facing the center of the field.
If the inscriptions do not vanish (completely), make sure that the granite tablet has never been used for the same purpose before. Carving on a used granite tablet will ruin the previous inscriptions as well as the current ones. Also, the length of grass in that particular grass field must not be more than 2⅔ inches. The chant should reach at least 90db to guarantee effectiveness, although some users have reportedly been successful chanting at 75db in quiet environments.
Premature exit from the submission process will result in enhanced soil fertility, encouraging seedlings to bud and grow into trees within weeks, invalidating the grass field from further usage to submit your code as CoTD. (This observed effect has brought upon us misuse by farmers and tree-planting organizations. SL is still in the process of deciding whether or not it requires legal attention) Failed attempts due to lack of fulfilling conditions (a wrong verse during the chant, grass exceeding max length, etc), however, do not carry any side-effects.

Hatsy Rei - Bravo 👏!
You should probably try your hand at a sci-fi book sometime.

Ata It's still a mystery. One of my code became COTD where I have a better code than the COTD code.
