HTML to Text

Question

How do I request the HTML content of a website and convert it to text so that I can run sorting arguments against the contents? I would like to do this using standard Python 3 libraries.

I don't know about python sorry, but an XML request in JavaScript would work well.

I'm sure there is a python way though.
