Specs of laptops?

hi everyone. I'm new to coding and intend to develop and design my own games until I can start my own development business.

I prefer a Linux laptop w/ Ubuntu OS and was looking at system 76s bonobo. my goal is mainly 3D modeling/3D animation and graphics along with AI algorithms and coding to bring my ideas to life. (3D modeling of open source inventions/ideas.)

I would like everyone's opinion on a strong and capable laptop.

16GB RAM
256GB SSD + 1TB HD
minimal 8GB videocard

You want a desktop for any level of three dimensional graphical design, it's stable and wont overheat

when you say more stable, how do you mean?

also, I was looking at laptops because being stuck in only one location isn't conducive of my living arrangements. besides overheating is there anything else?
