What programming languages are used to develop self-driving cars?

Is it C/C++, Java, Python? Is it a combination of these plus other languages as cars have many subsystems? Do the languages used vary from Google to other companies e.g. Toyota? Is there some industry-specific language?

My overall impression is that the components are C/C++ and the AI/ML are Python.

MHD BENY WIJAYA OpenCV is made in C/C++ and so is python. So practically everything can be done using C/C++. But that will get pretty nasty, especially with ML algos, so, for our convenience, we use python. It is also easier to implement in python as it is an interpreted language.

some people use Python as programming language to program it, included industries. I think it maybe because the Python have many module like a numpy, sklearn, and other to make project like Artificial intelligence, and it'll be helpful to made a self driving car with OpenCv as image processing. 😊

As the cars are created on the basic of microcontroller system!! So C/C++ are widely used to achieve the control!!!

Most self driving cars use machine learning and python is one of the biggest code database.
