PHP vs Python?

Como vocês visualizam o futuro das duas linguagens?

Ainda vejo o Python em estado de uso em experiência e sem muitas aplicações difundidas, sem ser as grandes ferramentas como Instagram e Youtube e que talvez não tome grande espaço no mercado como o PHP tem.

Porém, vejo também, Python em uso em grandes experimentos de níveis avançados, quem talvez PHP não alcance, ou realmente vai acontecer essa migração.

PHP bem difundido no mercado, porém caindo o interesse para estudo.

Como vêem esse futuro?

É mais provável que o PHP será substituído por C# ou JavaScript, Python é uma boa linguagem para usar, mas estes dois são melhores quando o desenvolvimento Web é sobre.

The use of PHP and Python are different.
As we know PHP is a serverside programming language. 95% Websites are based on php.So it is very important language.
On the other hand it we look at python.Python is using at many sectors like Hacking,Machine Learning,AI,Scientific Computing,Networking,server side etc.
So Python is also a very important language.

But if you have interest in web Development than it's PHP that you should learn.But if you have interest in Cyber Security, Networking,Artificial Intelligence, ML etc than you should learn Python.

Just adding a note that currently Python popularity is rising due to good libraries and its applicability in hot topic areas like AI, ML and Data Science. PHP popularity is currently decreasing probably due to the ability to use Javascript and its frameworks on web servers.

PHP tomou conta da Web, e ninguém vai reestruturar o que já tem feito só pra mudar pra outra linguagem, sendo que ela já supre.

Tenho visto que o mercado é bem amplo e se sai melhor quem está capacitado. Se capacitar nas principais linguagens é fundamental.

Pra Web e Mobile, o Java Script vai dominar muito ainda.
