If you get your expectations about yourself too high, the pressure subconsciously rises.
Then, when the moment comes to prove that you'll live up to them, you freeze. Or rebel. Or break down.
Remedy: Don't think in superlatives like 'all day', 'every day'. Not even for a second.
Instead implement a rule that you can *definitely* follow, no matter what.
Could be something like 15 minutes coding daily.
Do that for two months; mark off on a list every day after you did your 15 minutes.
Again, don't be a robot about it! If at a single day you just can't, forgive yourself - back on the horse next day.
Be serious, though, and get a 5 of 7 average over two months.
If you make it, try 20 minutes next 'season'.
Later on the job, you'll write for hours and hours, but you'll get paid for it and you'll have a boss helping you by breathing down your neck. ;-)
For now, settle for steady (even if slowish) progress. Slow is better than not at all because you overestimate yourself and end up evading.

Remember after you pass degree it would be not easy for you to get a job if you are not good at coding
So, think about your future and start working hard.

Don't say, "I'm gonna code all day", say instead, "I'm gonna code at least 30 minutes a day". And you know what? You can split that 30 minutes into 3. I think the best way to stay motivated while learning to code is to find people around you who love coding. It could lead to something big like collaborating on big projects. Coding is fun when done with others.

Choose problems to solve based on what your difficulty level is. Solve as many problems as you can. Start off from small problems involving strings, pointers, array manipulation. Once you get the taste of it, Coding is gonna be a habit.

Well, based on your explanations, I suggest you start somewhere. Learn these according to my personal preference:
HTML, CSS, BOOSTRAP, then
PHP, MYSQL, then
JavaScript.
The challenges you'll meet with the above mentioned are common as a programmer. That's my advice. But then each region or continent or country has common and more acceptable languages but the above mentioned are most common. That's my humble opinion.

I suggest you take a fresher course in Maths. Especially in Equations of various types, indices and then do play lots of game puzzles. Trust me, it will go a long way to help your brain to be more tactical is problem solving.

Well check this out. Assume that your life depends on coding and that when you graduate with little or no proper coding skills, you ain't gonna be useful to your family and society. MOVE AND GET CODING IMMEDITELY.

I don't think that "my life depends on coding, I should code or die" is a good way to motivate yourself... I have the same problem: I'd like to code, I even have a bachelor's degree in math modelling but that was part-time education so I didn't learn more than I had learnt at school programming in Pascal and solving simple problems like square equations... My problem is that I don't know where to start from, I know the basic principles but I have no idea which languages I'll need in future to get a job or make the project I want. It all seems so much.
I personally need a couch, someone who kicks me from time to time, but not constantly.

Preparing for the better programming language is like get ride of syntax as well as mood-off until you understand the "E A C H
A N D E V E R Y L I N E" written in syntax
Listen to the syntax, if the syntax is boring and gotta a headache in the mind...
Then relax for a sec and Think again again and again....
Go to YouTube and search for syntax and listen each and every point to understand
Plz listen...Until you understood...
It is a tool and remedy to process the brain cells to run and run and run....
Last but not least to get rid of lack of motivation...plz concentrate for yourself not for others...and search for motivational videos in YouTube about to program like a pro and became like a pro in programming side...
=>If you are lack of sleep then go to sleep until you have a good sleep...
=>If you are lack of motivation then get motivational videos until you fulfill urs thoughts...
=>If you are lack of knowledge in programming then go and understand everything you understand...

I think find friends to learn code together will motivate you more.

Sololearn is the right place for you to make friends and learn coding. Then also make reference to other website tutorials.

Watch some CS50 videos on YouTube. That always motivates me.

What I do when I get frustrated with coding.Or burnt out with coding. I start looking at tutorials about the theory of coding, the types of programming languages and what they're used for, and other topics of interest in the IT area. That way it will take your mind off of coding and the confusing syntax behind it. And you can focus on the bigger picture.
I Also study what makes software coders successful. So give your mind a break from the rigorous syntax coding functions and start thinking about the bigger picture behind Coding development. It just might get you back motivated and you'll come Away knowing a lot more about your skill set. 😀

Hai guys!
I'm here Becoz I'm the one to lose hope and loss-of-motivation....
Where i never been motivated by my friends nd others, becoz they generally criticize or say like "waste-of-time and effort".....
But my inner feeling of my heart leads to my destiny until i work hard or motivated.... where i seen so many profiles like a successful person in life....but those people had seen the hard times of their life until they are on the right track by self-motivation and learning from the elder ones by the way of motivation...were i had lack of motivation in which im become lazy person of my own world...its seems i can't do it until i work hard or try to solve the problem....some "nosayers" people says u can't until u had to strive ur last breadth....u can......
