3 Years of coding is a good experience?

You can't generalize it. It's hard to judge what a person has really done in 3 years. They might have been practicing and studying hard for hours and hours. Or they might have spent most time reading memes in activity feed. I've been at this for two years and still feel very noobish. Other people get a coding-related job after a year. Talent might also be a factor. If your brain is already wired a certain way, you might get off to a good start. Let's say you've been a maths and physics geek all your life and have been taking apart computers from childhood or something, you will have quite a different experience than if you, let's say, mostly played sports, or the violin. Age may also play a role. Young people, when the circumstances are right, can make light-speed progress, while old brains like mine might take longer to get a grip on things.
