Yes! I completed making a music player Android app a week back. I started it when I know only the basic basics of Android app development. It took me two months while working one hour a day. Except for the slide from bottom, swipe to remove etc., graphics, I implemented almost all features in Google Play Music.

It can definetly be done. Just remember that everything isn't easy. It'll take hard work and dedication, but I can promise you that at the end, you will feel a huge amount of relief and satisfaction. Take your time to first learn the language you want to program in. Make smaller projects that may include music and functions like recognizing a fingers touch onto the screen. Eventually, you will get to the point where you can program the type of game you want.
