Who else codes on their phone/tablet?

I personally use my phone (dcoder) mostly for little projects as the software for visual studio and what not runs in the background and i want as much performance as possible on my machine. 2018 update: what on earth was I thinking...

I only code on my phone at work, since I can't bring a laptop.

Lately mostly on my phone. I'm constantly out and about between having 3 kids and working. It's easier for me at least until I find a day when I can sit still for more the a few min at a time. Hacker Keyboard gives me the QWERTY PCish keyboard XD

I don't really like coding on my phone. It doesn't give me that space. I tend not to do better when I code with a phone. Besides the screen size is another issue. Most phone IDEs can't even compile offline. The best time to use a phone for coding is when an Idea pops on and you want to put it down quickly or test it or something else..

When it comes to Sololearn I'm always coding on my smartphone. Everything else is on the laptop.

Two Android devices... the slower but more functional of which keeps committing suicide due to a *tastic Google update...but I've caught the bad patch in my little security net and it will soon be dinner 🍣 +🍪

Typing on keyboard is fun. Mobiles are far inferior.

If you have no choice, code on your phone. but really, if you are lazy to open your computer and code there, you'll get nowhere in programming.

I develop android apps using an android phone. With the help of AIDE. I have fallen in a love with this IDE because it enables me to develop apps that implement material design guidelines. Moreover, it allows me to download libraries from maven, jitpack and other repos including the popular android support library which brings backward compatibility to features available in new Android releases. I also use JSRun to run small JavaScript projects and it helps a lot. For those who may criticise developping on a phone, yes it's kinda slow and limited but what if you don't have a PC.

It's really hard to code a lot on your phone compared to a desktop/laptop.

I think coding on computer is the best cause in big screen the content is more organized, I too code in a computer and even big developers too, so I recommended a computer or a tablet for coding But u can also code in mobile but it will be a little difficult

@Emmanuel Bashorun Not sure about specific IDE's but compiling depends on the tools you've installed (there is a nice set of offlines, e.g. in Termux). A bigger issue I've had building on phones is CPU optimization; we may all have 'arm' but arm-NEON instructions (wrong opcodes for CPU) are what's sniping my tablet.

I do code in my phone rarely when I have no alternative choice for coding. because phone is slow and limited. I do code in phone when I on the way . but when I in home or my laptop with me then I do code in my laptop. phone is not good for code because phone's debugger is still now unable to satisfy user for coding.
