Practice suggestion

I have completed my bsc and pursuing MCA. Right from my first year of degree i started to understand the functionality of the code. I was unaware of the site for programming practice. Now I m practicing on site like geeksforgeeks, hackerrank and hackearth. Its sometimes taking 2 to 4 day to understand and solve some basic program, the worse is even after seeing the solution I m unable to understand the question and the output. My question is M I going worng somewhere or my way of pratice is wrong or it takes very long time to everyone to be good enough to compete some in competition. I dont want to quit coding but feels down when I am unable to solve even basic questions.

Hi Kahkeshan 👋 In my experience, whatever you feeling is normal for every learner. There is nothing wrong in taking required time for understanding & learning thoroughly the concepts and syntax for long term. It would not be useful if you rush to complete those tasks or challenges without understanding. you can always share the code snippets which is difficult for you to understand. Sololearn community is very helpful 🙂 Consistency and practice is the key. Always ready to help learners. Good luck 👍 and happy learning!

True 👍 when I get stuck đŸ€” usually do some research, check out YouTube videos for better understanding. If still confused, try to take advantage in learning through searching my queries here in Q&A discussion. Lastly, if don't find answer you can post your questions đŸ™‚đŸ€·â€â™€ïž
