Should I use my pc as a server?

I am planning to use my pc as a server for my python project. Is it safe to use my PC's ip address in project. Should I use it or not?

Not really, but it'd be your router's ip address as all devices in your lan share a public ip address. Using port fowarding you can allow someone or everyone to access specific devices on your network from the outside (which is how they'd communicate with your server).

I'd get a raspberry pi and use that as a dedicated server.
