@Harsh Sounds like you need to get good at creating stuff. https://www.sololearn.com/Discuss/437973/?ref=app The key to this is practice. You don't have to create complex structures from the start. Try something simpler and has already been done before. It is OK to build on the work of others.

do not be 😃 I've started when I was 9 with nothing but an 8bit computer and a manual for Basic in English (I did not even know English at that time and as strange as that might sound there was no Internet). However I was determined to figure out how it works, so I started experimenting with the sample codes in the manual, changing commands and values to figure out how that affects the result. Took me quite some time, but now 30 years later I am quite happy with what I can do. So it is all about how determined and curious you are. Keep coding, challenge yourself to do harder and harder things and most important: believe in yourself and never give up. 😃😃😃

C++ will be a big help with Java when you get to that.

it put pressure on you... but people should enjoy what they do. but from the other side, why not try different careers? even if you don't show marvelous results in coding fast, you can still keep on doing it. then when you are good enough in it you can easily change you career if you want. besides you are young enough to try different paths

@Harsh You may start with any programming language you feel comfortable with. I personally started with C++, and set out just fine. P.S. I prefer Best Answer mark to be given to Nikolay. I speak from reference, he speaks from experience. Just remember that we were all once a beginner like you. :>

I study video game programming and yes coding seems scary at first. Heck, even I get scared. I don't know most of the methods in the C# language and I never really create my own practice project because I don't know if I have enough knowledge to complete it. So i'm in the same boat as you bud :) the only difference between us is that I'm 20 and in college. Personally I think you're going to be a way better programmer than me when you get older because you started at a younger age than me! Trust me, over time you'll get better and then other people will come to ask you for help. :) To answer your question about what language to start with. It's all up to you. But C++ is probably the best one to learn right now in my opinion :) C# and C++ are very similar though. After you learn one of these try learning Java next! It's super useful and I still have yet to learn it :)

@Nikolay Wow you started at 9! Man then you are a veteran in this field. When I was nine I was a fool and not even fully aware of myself ;-)
