The best text editor (IDE) for web developers?

Which Text Editor (IDE) is the best and most feature rich for Web Developers?
there's alot of them like: Sublime, Brackets, VS Code, ans Notepad++ etc...

First place - PhpStorm or WebStorm (JetBrains)
Second - VisualStudioCode (Microsoft)
Third - SublimeText3 Editor, Brackets (Adobe)
Fourth - Coda (MacOs)
Fifth - VisualStudio 20..(Microsoft)
Sixth - Emacs, Vim (+ Linux)
Seventh - Aptana Studio, Komodo IDE
Eighth - Notepad++ and many-many others☺

I think Brackets suits me the best, it has alot of nice plugins and themes, the UI too is very nice and clean, and the thing that i really loved about it is the Live Preview feature.

There are a lot of free resources on the internet. I use Notepad++ because it's free and good.
You can edit your HTML-file, CSS-file and JS-file in one screen, on different tabs. Works great for me.
Edit the file, save it, open it in your browser (or refresh it if you already opened it) and you see the result immediately.

I like to use sublime text and previously used brackets...
But there are a lot ( free and paid) editors so you have to choose the one that suits you the best ;)

You can use " visual studio code " or " visual studio 2015" because it is very good for systematic and clean code use can save the file in various file type Like .SQL , .html etc ,and you can recognized the keyword and the mistakes you make are highlighted .

Atom is good, but I prefer Notepad++.

There are lots of text editors, so just go for whichever serve ur needs.

Atom text editor, has loads of different plugins that are very easy to download straight from the program itself, all created by the community.

Has loads of of community made themes as well!

can someone elaborate on this a bit more for someone trying to post their stuff on git.. familiar with version control but noticed that getting that up on notepad++ seemed to cray for me.. thanks everyone

for javascript the best textpad is sublime text.Imo
For java i use at work the IDE jdevelloper, not just for java but pl/sql and sql as well

Webstorm is the thing bro.. Although getting its activation code is quite a stressfull process once u get it trust me you will not want to ever stop coding.GUI is awsome... autocompletion of keywords and choosing your own theme.. ☺. I advise you to get webstorm.
