Anybody knows a good place/site for used or refurbished mac laptops?

I want to buy one just for learning iOS development.

@David Yes, I got my Mac from ebay recently (a 2011 Macbook Pro with an SSD custom installed) and am absolutely thrilled with it. Having used both Windows and most major Linux distros substantially before I have to say that for web and software development there is just nothing comparable and I would highly encourage anyone thinking about getting one to do so. Just Homebrew alone is an enormous boon and massively better than apt-get, which is so riddled with errors and problems Ubuntu are dropping it (though there aren't yet enough packages in the replacement package manager...)

@J.F. eBay and sometimes Amazon and Apple will have refurbished Macs. Another option would be to research Hackintoshes to run mscOS on Windows. However, this may or may not work. I haven't looked at this option in years, since I started developing full time on a MacBook Pro.

@Peter Carter... Nice! If you love your 2011 model, you will be even more locked in if you get a chance to work with 2015 and newer models with full upgraded options. Nothing I've worked with comes close. 😎
